“When i was a child,
I spake as a child, I understood as a child,
I thought as a child…”
(1 Corinthians 13:11a)
WHERE are you now? Perhaps the most exhilarating and enlightening reality we can come to is the realization of where we stand in the world. Since no one can give that to you, it is an internal process, it will take a humble conscious clarity when looking at world reality, self reality and discerning the TRUTH. To be someone who can discern the TRUTH requires a person to be, what I call ‘a low-roader” or a person of HUMILITY… Let’s examine Humility and what it means:
Blessed are the poor in spirit:
for theirs is the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
(Matt 5:3)
Humility is often seen as a virtue that is associated with being modest, self-effacing, and unassuming. This virtue is seen as being in contrast to qualities such as arrogance, self-aggrandizement, and pride. At its core, humility is about having a realistic and accurate understanding of one’s own abilities, limitations, and strengths.
In contrast to a person who is arrogant or prideful, who may tend to overstate their own abilities and overstate the abilities of others.
It means when a person is able to recognize their own flaws and limitations, then they are able to admit when they are wrong or when they need help. One of the key benefits of humility is that it allows us to form more meaningful and authentic connections with others. When we are able to listen to others without judging them or trying to prove ourselves right this allows us to build trust and understanding.
ARE YOU WILLING TO CHANGE?
Assuming that you are tired of living according to the world’s view point i.g., believing in yourSELF {better understood as ‘magical thinking’} and hearing the Lord calling you, it’s time to consider CHANGING or manifesting what the Holy Bible calls ‘REPENTING’. This process is what John the Baptist called for at the end of the dispensation of the LAW and at the beginning of the dispensation of GRACE. The Lord Jesus considered JOHN THE BAPTIST to have been the greatest of all prophets. (Matt. 11:11) “Repent” is the same word that the Lord Jesus spoke when He began to preach the Good News. (see Matt. 3:1-12)
17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(Matt.4:17)
God calls FIRST— accepting His call is all that any man or woman can do by Faith. YOU DID NOT ACCEPT GOD INTO YOUR HEART BECAUSE YOU HEARD THE MESSAGE OF THE GOOD NEWS OR PRAYED A PRAYER. It was God’s plan from the beginning. He called and we (some of us) answered by FATIH.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, whom he also glorified.
(Rom. 8:29-30)
