The Understanding Sexual Sin/the Homosexual LGBTQ

Controversy, Exploring the Bible’s Perspective

The Bible is the foundational text from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob offering  guidance and teachings regarding all sexual matters.

Biblical Teachings on Sexual Purity

The Bible addresses sexual ethics throughout various passages, encouraging believers to maintain purity and integrity in their sexual relationships. It emphasizes the sanctity of marriage and the importance of sexual faithfulness within that context. It emphasizes the significance of love, respect, and commitment within marital relationships as the foundation for healthy sexual expression.

Biblical Sexual Sin ?

The Bible categorizes various sexual behaviors as sinful, including adultery, fornication, prostitution, incest, and rape.

Homosexuality in Scripture

 Text: Romans 1:26–27

The issue of homosexuality is one of the most debated topics within the realm of sexual ethics. God has rendered this debate moot; clearly He says it’s SIN, and sin has consequences.

The consequences of Sin begins in the garden:

Adam Rejected God words= Sin = death to all men all mankind>

Cain rejected God’s offer=Sin = 1st pattern of sin for mankind>

World lives in evil activity=Sin=God destroyed the world by flood (all but Noah)>

Pharaoh rejects God’s Commands =Sin= God destroys Pharaoh in the Red Sea>

Sodom & Gomorrah= Sin=God destroyed>

*Notice where sin predominates-without repentance–destruction inevitably follows–So it is with all Sin!

The two main biblical passages that mention same-sex behavior are found in the Old Testament book of Leviticus (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13)

Understanding of historical and cultural contexts in light of God’s decree will bring clear understanding of the principles and interpretation.

LGBTQ+ Community;

Point of clarity :

There are no righteous LGBTQ+ referenced in the Old or New Testament—all were destroyed or on their way to destruction by the hand of God. Sin brings destruction!

This includes: The 1st world (in the time of Noah)

Central to the teachings of Jesus Christ is the commandment to love one another unconditionally (Matthew 22:37-40). Only true believers can unconditionally love.

Many Christians who affirm the dignity and worth of LGBTQ+ individuals argue that the Bible’s overarching message of love, compassion, and inclusion should guide their understanding of sexual ethics. Many so-called Christians desecrate the name, the will and purpose of the Most High.

Being disingenuous is not allowed!    Acknowledge that no one stands above Him and can override His Majesty. He is God all by Himself!

Supporters of LGBTQ+ inclusion within the church impune the Word of God. They argue that a loving and compassionate response to sexual diversity can lead to a more inclusive and affirming interpretation of the Bible’s teachings on sexual ethics. Being inclusive in the LGBTQ+ agenda will lead to being complicit in helping the blind to indulge in Sin.

In Conclusion:

Understanding the Bible’s perspective on sexual sin, including the LGBTQ+ controversy, is not a complex endeavor. As believers in Jesus Christ, we stand in the clear truth of the Father’s words.  And having faith in God, our response to questions surrounding sexuality is to stand on the veracity of His Word. It is vital to engage in respectful dialogue, empathy, and understanding. Recognizing the diversity of perspectives and interpretations even within the Christian community but remembering nothing changes God’s standards.
